San Diego’s coastal North County is a growing, diverse suburban region. Oceanside, a mid‑sized coastal city, includes Camp Pendleton with 42,000 active‑duty Marines and a community college of 13,000 students. With only about 40 churches—roughly one for every 4,000 people—the need is great. Our mission is to help people glorify and enjoy God, find true community, and live in the way of Jesus. “El Camino,” meaning “the way,” reflects both Southern California’s Spanish heritage and Jesus’ declaration that He is the way, the truth, and the life. We seek to embody His grace and truth in all we do.
