Joel Passmore

Chester has grown rapidly to over 73,000 residents, nearly half from minority backgrounds, yet 59% report little or no faith involvement and several neighborhoods face significant poverty. The area urgently needs a strong gospel witness. Joel Passmore—a longtime Richmond resident, former engineer, worship leader, ruling elder, and now PCA pastor—has been called by James River Presbytery to plant New Creation Presbyterian Church. With a diverse core group forming, the goal is to bring gospel renewal to Chester. We invite you to partner with this work through your prayers and financial support to help launch New Creation Presbyterian Church.
