Marty Cates

Rural communities may appear peaceful, yet many face deep brokenness, addiction, poverty, and hopelessness. Marty Cates, a Virginia native, sensed God’s call after work in finance and pastoral ministry, most recently at Sycamore Presbyterian. He and his wife, Meredith, now feel led to plant a church in Amelia County—to proclaim the gospel, rest in Christ, rejoice in the resurrection, and work for God’s Kingdom.
